Back to School: Blended Learning Model at FAS

Out of many sectors and fields in our country, schooling has been one of the most disrupted domains due to the ongoing pandemic.

As we inch closer day by day to new normalcy, it becomes imperative to tackle the issue of schooling in a blended approach such that pupils can return to classrooms and campus and yet be safe.

*Safety measures on Campus:*
All facilities, classrooms, washrooms, and laboratories of the school have been thoroughly disinfected and sanitized prior to joining the back of the students as well as they undergo regular cleansing and sterilization from time to time to abide by the hygiene protocols set by the ministry.
Temperature checks of every student, filling in health forms as well checking the Ehteraz app on entry have been made compulsory every day and strictly observed upon entry.

*A blended approach to learning:*
Students of primary sections will attend school twice per week, while following distant (virtual) learning on the remaining three days of the week while students from the secondary side will have to only attend once a week and learn via virtual platforms on the remaining days of the week.

*Guidelines and Advice on staying safe:*
While every effort is being made to ensure the safety of everyone inside the campus, it is important to understand that health is still one’s responsibility first. It is advised to maintain social distance, avoid taking off masks unnecessarily and avoid shaking hands or hugging as well as other healthcare etiquettes.
